It was a very interesting branding excercise for Lalu when I emceed for them the other day. With four outlets in Singapore and four outlets ( 3 of which are counters in Isetan ) in Malaysia, they are a fabulous singaporean brand with great designer clothes designed by their own designers. With three different story collections, you have to check them out, they have good quality clothes with alot of attention to details in the store.

If you have been looking for a solution to export your photos to google plus!, here is a free solution.

1) Install Chrome browser. It runs on Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. If you are not sure what platform you are on, chances are you are running Windows or Mac. Look at your computer, if you have an apple logo somewhere, you have a mac. If you can't find an apple logo, you must be running Windows. If you think you might be running linux, you should know you are running that already, since linux requires more tech knowledge. However, if you are using someone else's computer, look for a cute penguin. Install the browser after downloading. They have instructions.

2) Click on this link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/idiebfmmkhaffedkhjhapmagabcadjhc?hl=en-US It will bring you to the application in the Chrome App Store. Download this only AFTER you install the Chrome Browser.

Install the extension, it is FREE.
Thereafter, follow the instructions and you will be able to export your facebook photos to google plus!, more specifically, to Picasa as google plus! uses picasa albums.

I was Zany Science with Sweetheart the Clown in the recent SCIENCE Busking competition and emerged champion! It was really fun demonstrating science concepts through the use of balloons, ventriloquism and an odd plastic bag or two! Sound was demonstrated, Newton's laws and more...

Me looking so happy at the unexpected win! Everyone else except Uncle JIMBO had the support of their schools, which meant their scores were naturally high. I NEEDED drastic action in order to win... I really put my whole heart and soul out there to teach science concepts while making it fun! Happy to say, even children understood some pretty difficult science concepts which I had a bit of trouble remembering in secondary school - Like high tension = high pitch, low tension of string = low pitch!

A Swan Song – The Last Tribute to Anita Mui

Lezard Cheung, known as Singapore's Anita Mui, will sing his very last this 1st Dec 2009 as he is permanently retiring from show business in favour of a spiritual life. One of his last acts as a performer will be to raise funds for the kids in India ( Project Juley ) to have a school to call their own, and get an education.

His friends, from all faiths, all walks of life, have all gathered to make this last concert truly special. From dancers, to magicians and even clowns, everyone is donating their time and effort in a bid toraise enough for the school to be built.

The children in the mountains of India, near Tibet are unable to go toschool, as the six months of winter prevents them from doing little else except survive. This school that will be built will not just educate, they will house the kids and give them free food, lodging and teaching.

As we are trying to raise funds through ticket sales, we hope that you would find this story worthy of mention, and we will be most happy to answer any questions, should you want to set up an interview.

Some Information about the show:
A bubble, a hope, a dream

Vivien Goh started Zephyhdom ( The One Stop Talent Source ) in 1995 when she was still 17 years old. After nearly 15years, she is going back to the roots, Theatre. This performance is neither a musical nor pure theatre, it has elements of magic, mime, clowning, puppetry,ventriloquism, bubbles, juggling and balloon sculpting all rolled in to one show. With a central theme of dreams, we hope that this show will touch the families watching this unique combination of fun and comedywith a poetic central storyline and instill in the kids a sense of hope, a bubble of a dream. Dreams are all too important, and Vivien Goh has experienced, together with her performers, how important it isto be able to dream, and dream BIG!

I painted on their hands, and the little girls were so lovely, they all came back for seconds! Hence everyone had 2 paintings on their hands at least!

She's really cute and sweet too! 7 year old parties are fun, the children are able to laugh at all the subtle jokes as well as the slapstick comedy... Happy Birthday Elizabeth!

They were really fast learners! Just second 50min session and they are able to make proportionate, good looking sculptures.

This is how I teach, with written annotations so that they understand why and how a certain twist contributes to the whole sculpture.

They are also able to read other annotations that they come across in future.

Sorry about my drawing skills though! :)
